Wilt Chamberlain lived the life of a legend. In the early 1970’s, Wilt purchased land on a hilltop in Los Angeles (Bel Air) and built his dream palace with architect David Tenneson Rich. The home was envisioned to be “larger than life” and was custom built for his 7 foot stature. The house broke architectural boundaries as is mimicked the work of Frank Lloyd Wright. With stunning architecture and panoramic views of Los Angeles, this house was the only way to live like a king. According to the legend, he named it Ursa Major after his own nickname of the Big Dipper.
